March 2025 ENTRANT Transnational Partners Meeting 2 in Aalborg
On March 11th-12th, we joined our partners at NOVIScience Park in Aalborg for the second TransnationalPartners Meeting of the ENTRANT project. The session featured Prof. Dr. Gökçe Çiçek Ceyhun from Bursa Technical University, Maritime Faculty and Ilker OZGUVEN, the President of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry E-Commerce and Digitalization Council and the founder of the company F2F.
The session, hosted by prof. dr. Gokce Cicek Ceyhun, from Bursa Technical University, also created the perfect environment for open dialogue between entrepreneurs from different countries, serving as a source of inspiration for those at the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey.

ENTRANT Techno TalksSuccess Stories 2, organized by BursaTechnical University – Department of Mechatronics Engineering
The second Techno Talks event was organized by Bursa Technical University- Department of Mechatronics Engineering and the speaker was Dr. Mehmet Onur Genç from Bursa Technical University Department of Mechatronics Engineering. Dr. Mehmet Onur Genç is also the founder of FCM Mobility which is one of the companies established in Bursa Technical University Technology Development Park that develops environmentally friendly pedal-assisted Micro E-Mobility vehicles.
The session was hosted by dr. Atike Koken vice general Manager of Bursatechnopark.
Octomber 2024 ENTRANT Techno Talks Success Stories 1, organized by BursaTechnical University
The first Techno Talk was organized on 14 October 2024 to celebrate Erasmus Day along side the ENTRANT project partners and guests who showcased their use cases during the Techno Talks event.
September 2024 Kick-off meeting of the ENTRANT Project
The coordinator of the project, Bursa Technical University organized a very highly successful meeting in Bursa -Turkey during September 5-6, 2024. The meeting has given the opportunity for project partners to meet face-to-face, discuss work packages and establish important deadlines.

Bursatechnopark actively cultivates connections between aspiring entrepreneurs and industry leaders, equipping them with the essential tools and resources to thrive in an increasingly competitive global market. Various activities have been carried out under the ENTRANT Project to support young entrepreneurs and SMEs through training, networking, and international collaboration.
Bursa Technical University Career Fair
Bursatechnopark participated in BTÜKAF’24 (Bursa Technical University Career Fair), organized by the Career Development Application and Research Center of Bursa Technical University, with the companies located in the Bursatechnopark region to connect students in the area with the business world.
At the fair, Bursatechnopark personnel provided information to visiting students and industry representatives about Bursatechnopark applications, training programs, and the ENTRANT Project conducted under the ERASMUS program. Additionally, entrepreneurial companies within Bursatechnopark shared detailed information about their fields of work at their booth and discussed internship and recruitment opportunities with students.
Designing of International Marketing Strategies Workshop
Another significant event was the “Designing of International Marketing Strategies” workshop, held as part of the ENTRANT Project. The event, moderated by Bursatechnopark General Manager Prof. Dr. Ayse Celik Bedeloglu, also she featured a key presentation about the ENTRANT Project. Barış Sülün,Vice President of the BTSO E-Commerce and Digitalization Council, shared valuable insights on how to succeed in international markets.
In addition to Bursatechnopark companies, entrepreneurs interested in international marketing strategies and eager to gain experience in this field also participated in the event. The workshop thoroughly discussed strategies to stand out in global competition, the impact of digitalization on exports, and innovative marketing approaches. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and engage indirect.

Magurele Science Park at Start Your Startup 2024
At Start Your Startup 2024, held in October at POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest, we had the opportunity to showcase Magurele Science Park’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship by participating with a dedicated MSP stand for two days. Throughout the event, we engaged with a diverse group of ambitious students, eager to explore the world of startups and turn their ideas into real businesses. It was an inspiring experience to discuss with them the various opportunities available through the ENTRANT project, which provides crucial support for young entrepreneurs, helping them navigate the challenges of launching and growing their businesses. We also highlighted other key initiatives of MSP, such as the Laser Valley Innovation Bootcamp, which brings together students, researchers, and industry experts to collaborate on high-tech and deep-tech innovations.
The event was a dynamic space filled with insightful conversations, networking opportunities, and valuable exchanges of ideas, reaffirming the importance of bridging academia, research, and entrepreneurship. Seeing the enthusiasm and determination of the next generation of innovators motivates us to continue developing programs and initiatives that support young talent in building the businesses of the future.
NOVI LEGAT 2025
The NOVI Grant
Every year, in Spring and Autumn, NOVI funds two start-up ideas from enterprising students in their final yearsat the university. This year, in combination with theENTRANT project, there has been an increased focuson exportability of company ideas. How successfulwould the idea/product be whenit moves abroad? Howeasy is the journey to bring the product to market inother countries?
The winner of this year’s grant will be announced nextmonth! And we hope to bring them on board theENTRANT project and provide additional supportthrough this pilot program. The ENTRANT project isspecifically tailored for growing export abilities.
NOVI MediPark + Catalyser
The construction of NOVI Medi Park is progressing as planned and will be finished in 2026. Then we will truly have assembled Northern Jutland’s Medical Valley: with the education of health professionals, the new Super Hospital and the MedTech industry all gathered within 2 square miles.
To support this environment NOVI is launching a new initiative, Catalyser! A HealthTech focused accelerator program; with a high-quality stream-lined learning program, expert advisors on-hand and a strong focus on 1-1 mentorship. Initially, an application process will determine the best candidates which will participate in the program and receive support from NOVI as the program runs. The program runs as a convertible loan at no cost to the company, until they secure additional funding and begin to scale. In this way NOVI is truly committed to helping the companies succeed.
1.Remember how it started – stay true to your company’s DNA
2.Stay focused– especially in sales –do not try to solve all the world’s problem with yourproduct. In the beginning, at least.
3.Gather a great team! Seek out skills you lack and bring them onboard – but remember that chemistry is important.
4.Expect burn-out. A start-up is grueling work at times, knowing in advance lets you plan around it.
5.Find the best advisors. Finding people who will tell you honestly if something is a bad idea is crucial.
6.Secure funding or die! You need to prioritize sales or acquiring investors, users or grants.
7.Commit to an out-going strategy. Talk to users/customers and incorporate feedback from the start.

Best practices and support for startup internationalization from Tech Park Varaždin.
For startups, internationalization is a key milestone, but it requires careful preparation. Based on our experience in supporting young companies, were commend a structured approach:
Start with validation on the local and regional market — ensure your product or service solves a real problem and has growth potential.
Build strong networks and participate in international projects — engage in international matchmaking events, B2B meetings, and join initiatives like the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). Participation in projects such as ENTRANT is also highly recommended, as they offer comprehensive education on how to prepare a company for internationalization through sustainable strategies, business model refinement, and exposure to international best practices.
Develop soft skills and cultural understanding — training in pitching, negotiation, and intercultural communication is essential.
Organize and participate in targeted events — startup missions, international fairs, demo days, and visits to innovation hubs abroad can open doors to foreign markets.
Seek mentors with international experience — they can help avoid costly mistakes and provide valuable insights.
