The ENTRANT Digital Mentoring Program Designed for Small Companies with Big Ambitions

Young entrepreneurs have joined an inspiring program guided by experienced mentors from four different countries. The ENTRANT Digital Mentoring Program is designed to help small businesses grow, innovate, and reach their full potential. The first mentoring session is scheduled to take place soon. With just 1 hour per week for 8 weeks, participants unlock meaningful growth without overwhelming their schedules.

 

What’s included for participants:

25 startups from across industries have joined our digital mentoring program, bringing bold ideas and unique business perspectives.Participating ventures range from tech-driven solutions and digital services to sustainable products and creative industries. By joining the program, these start-ups will receive tailored guidance from experienced mentors, access to practical resources, and strategic support to refine their business models, expand into new markets, and navigate challenges in both local and international environments.

Autumn Kick-off: Inspiring Young Entrepreneurs Across Europe!

Two Days of Innovation, Collaboration, and Growth at TPM3 & Entrant Project Planning

The Entrant project is in full swing! Our team has been immersed in activities designed to empower young entrepreneurs and create impactful learning experiences.

We kicked off our Transnational Partners Meeting 3 (TPM3) at Tech Park Varaždin, exploring its innovative labs and meeting inspiring entrepreneurs who are shaping the future of business. The day concluded with a workshop on “Networking and Entrepreneurship for Students,” hosted in collaboration with the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb.

Day 2 was all about shaping the next phase of Entrant. Our team focused on planning the Long Term Training for young entrepreneurs, taking place in Lithuania next spring. We finalized the program concept, workshop structure, and all practical details to ensure a meaningful and impactful experience.

We also brainstormed strategies to make our training and mentoring platforms more engaging and accessible, adding exciting elements for participants to fully benefit from the expertise of our international mentors. The day wrapped up with a review of the Entrant project indicators, ensuring we are on track to meet our objectives.

Bursatechnopark Drives Innovation Through the ENTRANT Project


Bursatechnopark and the ENTRANT team place the project at the center of their activities, ensuring that it is promoted at every opportunity. With ongoing awareness-raising and outreach efforts, the project continues to expand its visibility and impact across the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The ENTRANT project, coordinated by Bursatechnopark, continues to engage the entrepreneurial ecosystem through its Techno Talks series, organized monthly by project partners. After concluding the first series, Techno Talks: International Success Stories, ENTRANT launched a new webinar format featuring expert presentations on trending topics. The first event, “The Shift: Global Trends Shaping 2040,” was hosted by Bursatechnopark.

Eren Irdiren, M.Sc., Partner and Business Consultant at Consultancy4CHANGE, explored the global trends that will shape the world by 2040, covering technological, societal, economic, and environmental impacts.

 

ENTRANT: Always on Our Agenda

The ENTRANT project has been regularly discussed during meetings and visits with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, researchers, entrepreneurs, technoparks, institutions, and associations. These interactions have helped raise awareness of the project and strengthen its presence across the innovation ecosystem.

During these discussions, experts capable of providing mentorship within the project have been identified and contacted, and potential collaborations and knowledge-sharing opportunities have been established. Feedback gathered from stakeholders has also been collected to support the further development and improvement of project activities

 

IP in the Digital Age – Highlightfrom Our Mentorship Platform


As part of the mentorship platform developed for entrepreneurs within the ENTRANT project, one of the most exciting modules focuses on “IP in the Digital Age: Software, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain.”

This training explores key topics such as digitalization and intellectual property, software copyrights, open-source vs. proprietary software, next-generation technologies, NFTs, blockchain and the boundaries between data ownership and IP.

Currently, the module is in its pilot phase and available only to participating entrepreneurs in the project. In the future, however, it will be made open access, enabling wider audiences to benefit from its insights.

Workshop on Digitalization for Young Entrepreneurs


Magurele Science Park organized an inspiring and technology-focused workshop at the association’s headquarters, dedicated to digitalizing businesses. The event brought together young entrepreneurs and representatives from startups and SMEs.

As part of the mentorship program for young entrepreneurs, the workshop offered insights on how technology can accelerate business growth. Ana Maria Stancu from Bucharest Robots, shared her entrepreneurial journey and, with the help of a small robot, demonstrated how courage and technology can help achieve business goals faster. Emanuela Modoran from Wallachia eHub, presented three European funding sources ideal for young entrepreneurs. Finally, Andreea Toader from Unbox Management Solutions, introduced participants to the world of cybersecurity and showcased a highly useful digital platform.

  • Cybersecurity and data protection
  • Best practices and relevant case studies

Through initiatives like this, we are contributing to accelerating the digital transformation of Romanian entrepreneurs.

 

Laser Valley Innovation Bootcamp (LVIB) 2025

From the 22nd to the 24th of May, the third edition of the Laser Valley Innovation Bootcamp (LVIB) 2025 brought together nearly 100 young researchers, students, and founders on the Măgurele research platform. For three days, participants transformed scientific ideas into business solutions, working side by side in mixed teams of scientists, entrepreneurs, and students. Throughout the bootcamp, they benefited from the guidance of experienced mentors and took part in hands-on workshops on business validation, finance,and innovation strategy

72 Hours of Innovation: Laser Valley Bootcamp turns Science into Business

The bootcamp concluded with an inspiring Demo Day, where teams pitched their projects developed in just 72 hours. The winning projects showcased the diversity and potential of applied research in Romania: a technology for diamond-like coatings with applications in extreme environments, an AI-based platform for ESG reporting, and an eco-friendly nanocrystal technology for the pharmaceutical industry. These initiatives reflect LVIB’s mission to accelerate the journey from laboratory innovation to real-world . LVIB has quickly established it self as a launchpad for applied innovation in Romania. Organized by Măgurele Science Park and Launch Romania, with the support of public research institutes and academic partners, the bootcamp not only connects different communities but also ensures ongoing support for the teams beyond the event. The winning groups will now receive training and guidance toward funding opportunities, strengthening the pipeline of science-based startups emerging from the Romanian research ecosystem impact.
